又是病猫一只

短短的两个月内又生病了。真是可怜。只能怪天气象女人的脾气一样,一时热,一时冷,琢磨不定。今天既然旷了课。根本不想踏出家门半步。现在也咳得半条命。*cough cough*

21st March 2010, Sunday

After lessons, Jiahao and I went to have tea-break at MOS Burger. Then I went to find my parents at Suntec, where we then picked up Cindy at her school before going to the new Aston's Specialty outlet at Beach Road. It's only 2 months old, and there wasn't a huge queue outside like the one at Katong.

After the dinner I rushed down to Peppermint Park @ St. James, where the ABU vs NBU event was held. It is a live screening of the Manchester United vs Liverpool match. There was some pre-match chill-out thingy. We were to guess the time the first goal was scored, as well as the half-time and full-time scores. Winners get to win cash and hampers! Woot! For a mere $15, we get either an ABU/NBU T-shirt, a goodie bag, 3 drinks, and finger food. Pretty awesome deal. So there we were Aaron and gf, Charles, Eileen and me watching the match with 95 other fans. Rowdy fans they were. According to Charles, the guys who kept chanting songs and cheering throughout the whole match were from SMU gym club members. Pretty nice atmosphere to watch a soccer match though. The match ended with Man Utd 2 Liverpool 1. What a shame for Liverpool lol. I thought they could at least give a draw. Let's see what Chelsea can do in the upcoming clash of the season, where the championship could be decided on that match alone.

27th March 2010, Saturday

Went to check out the World Cosplay Summit Singapore held at West Coast Plaza with Hock. Haven been to WCP at all, so it was a pretty good chance to go there and also to be able to capture pictures of cosplayers at the same time. We had a bit of food at the dim sum restaurant before going around for a shooting spree.
There was even a live performance by the Singapore Wind Symphony. They played songs like Pokerface some more. They even had a medley of Final Fantasy songs. Cool stuff! I took the video too. May upload it soon.

So after that we went to Suntec for the Jobsdb Career Fair. Hock is looking for jobs so this should be good for him. But then when we reached the place, we found that it's not very useful at all. You can actually just log into their website and apply online instead of going down there. What a waste of time and space. We then went for dinner at the Suntec foodcourt. DON'T ever order the ramen from the Japanese food stall. $5 and SUX BIG TIME! I met Sin Shoo there who was having dinner too. Still looks the same. Then I ordered some Potato Salad from another Jap stall. With combo of soup and side dish is only $4.80, and much nicer! WTF!

And so after that we decided to walk around to Esplanade to catch what Singapore is doing during Earth Hour. By the time the clock becomes 8:30pm, most of the lights on the buildings in the CBD area were off. There was even a concert of sorts near the padang. Plenty of people had gathered there for some celebrations and fun, mostly burning candles when the lights all went off.
Saw a few celebrities like the two magicians, JC Sum and Ning, the magic babe, as well as Jamie Yeo. We then walked around taking some pix before retiring for the day.

Zhng My PC

Wootz got new speakers finally! Was using the laoya cheapo $10 speakers when I bought together with my CPU. One side of the speakers hasn't been working since dunno when some more hahahha! Went with Aaron to the IT Show. Haven't been visiting such IT shows for a long time. Next thing to get is either a Wii or a PS3! And also to upgrade my 500D to a 550D, if possible. Wahaha pok liao!

The new speakers is a SonicGear Tatoo 320e 2.1 speaker system. Costs $39.90, and according to them, it's a very cheap price. Hmmm.... Oh well. My neighbours are gonna complain liao hahahha! Time to rock the house!

When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going

One asshole to spoil the day, or maybe two. The Hongkee is fine, but a bit pesky. This one is still ok. The Ahneh... Walau see his twisted face and fker attitude, makes me wanna give him a headshot. But I dun wanna spoil my homepage with such rotten people though. Just that I wanna keep a record of the shitty things I encounter.

And now for the good stuff! I saw the girl again! Haven't seen her for a long time. And this time with a shorter hairdo, which makes her look younger and cuter! Woohoo. We were having a fire drill and there she was standing not too far away from me. When will I have the chance to know her? Maybe she's unavailable anymore... But let's keep our hopes high!

And then I heard the voice of a sweet lady at the other end of the line. Brightens up a hazy, gloomy and shitty day. Why is it all the girls makes my day whereas the guys are the fkers? Should I be a bigger fker then? Wahaha! But then that's just not me. Just don't try to step over my head you morons!

Ok complain finished. It's mid-week Wednesday! I haven't looked forward to the weekend for a long time. This time I really hope weekend comes faster.

Let's March into March!

It's already 7th of March loh! Lazy to update recently. Hahaha. Jap lessons getting more demanding sia. Information overload! 頑張ろう!

6th March 2010, Saturday

Was slacking at home and trying to stay away from the freaking hot weather. But suddenly Ah Hock jioed me to take pix with him. So we met at city area and then decided to go to Fort Canning for some shooting spree. Tried his powderful lens for a while. Damn heavy sia, but the bokeh effects were awesome. We then shot around Clarke Quay too. Wanted to watch movies but all good seats were sold out, so we had dinner and went home. Duh... need to book tix earlier next time lol.
28th February 2010, Sunday

Met up with GIP people. This time there were Kim, Nana, Alan, HS, NZ, ET, WY, KW and me. We went to try the which is quite far off from the rest of the steamboat restaurants. Quite good interiors, and special grilling on paper, as well as the normal steamboat. It's $17.80 flat. Quite good. The food variety is quite standard. Not too bad. I wouldn't wanna squeeze with the crowd at the Liang Seah street side. Not too much of a gathering, more like a steamboat dinner that's all. Nvm we'll have more meet-ups soon.
