Who Says Transformers 2 Not Nice?!?

Some people say they saw reviews which said T2 was no good. What crap reviewers are those? They ought to be shot dead for criticizing such a masterpiece. Just looking at all the awesome graphics is fascinating enough already. Forget all those negative reviews. If you don't catch this movie, then you're a dumb-ass.

27th June 2009, Saturday

There was this YOUTH mascot parade happening at Orchard. Plenty of cosplayers and stuff, all done by teens. Walau feel so old... T_T But never mind, heart still very young hahaha. Went to catch a bit of the action. Hmm... Li Teng was there earlier and he told me that the afternoon ones were even better. He went to support his friend who was cosplaying some Star Wars character. By the time I reached Taka, I only managed to catch a group of teens cat-walking down the aisles. Gothic cosplay though. Nothing else really.
Nicholas and I met there to catch a bit of the action before we went to meet up Edwin and Wingkin who were around the area. We caught a glimpse of the newly-opened Orchard Central. Fwah super nice from the outside. And it's freaking tall. Several storeys of unopened shop space. Some of them were opened though. Pretty nice interiors and exteriors. Its long flights of escalators on the outside enabled us to get a great view of Orchard Road and Centrepoint just across the road. Woah Orchard is getting better all the time.
After that we went to have dinner, before Nic and I rushed down to Suntec to meet up Siying, Peyyong, Peiyi and Yaokun for TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN! Waited for this movie for freaking long. Don't mind watching another time either hehehe. The graphics really rox. However I'm pretty sure those who are not born in the Transformers era would be super blur about those robots. Even the Constructicons merging into Devastator would not be very obvious to non-Transformers fans. Can't wait to get the DVD!! And watch it million times hahaha. And of course Transformers 3!

MJ Forever

As everyone should know by now, the greatest performer of all time, Michael Jackson, has passed away. T_T Grew up listening to all his songs, playing his Moonwalker, watching his amazing dance moves and MTVs. The world has just lost a musical genius that no one can surpass. I'm rewatching his MTVs, playing his Moonwalker all over again. His hits are just classics. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, lives in our hearts forever.

Weekend Gone In A Flash

Walau back to Monday so quickly. So many new things in such a short time. Let's rewind back to last Friday.

19th June 2009, Friday

Our last day at Tampines Junction. Yeah most of Citibank's operations have moved to Changi Business Park by the time you read this. Walau damn ulu place. It's almost like another Science Park. Plenty of ABNNs and AMs. Anyway we took quite a few pix in the office. Although I've been there for only a month, but I guess it's still a memory worth keeping. FIRST TIME I get my own table loh! Last time at ST is considered a "workstation" table hahaha. Finally have a picture of me at my very own table -____-|||.
Then the few of our lunch kakis then decided to bring all our cameras to take during lunch haha. We ate at the Kim Gary HK Cafe.
Next up they decided to go KTV! Wahaha haven't been going KTV since Tioman trip. We went to the Shenton Way outlet after dinner and sung our hearts out until 1am+. O_O The girls were pretty good singers, I would say. Nice voices haha.20th June 2009, Saturday

And I thought I would just stay home gaming. But all of a sudden Weiyang called and asked me out for dinner. So we then managed to mobilize Clifton and Guangxiang. Then we had dinner near GX's place, followed by pool at Parkway, then tau huay at Rochor near the Selegie place. Eat until shiokz. Nothing feels better than meeting up old friends and having a great time.

21st June 2009, Sunday

After my lesson, I took a bus down to the Aston's Specialty at Katong for meet up with my family for a Father's Day dinner. Wah din know eating there can spend almost $100 O_O. Burn pocket. But never mind, cos we all love the western food there. Yumz. Argh getting hungry liao. It's Father's Day. What have you done for your father? =)

Shabu-Shabu anyone?

Time to update again, before Uncle starts complaining that I haven't been updating my blog. Ahahaha!

13th June 2009, Saturday

It's Junie's birthday bash at Boiler Room @ St. James! Quite a few people turned up. Haven't got the pix from her. But nonetheless it's a good mini block gathering too. Junie's birthday is on the 14th, therefore it was the perfect night for a clubbing. Haven't really had a proper block clubbing session since uni days. Junie even booked two tables, complete with loads of booze. The live band Soul Kool also gave very powderful performances every now and then. Then there's of course the famous ah-gua making fun of people all the time. Junie didn't wanna get sabo-ed onto the stage, therefore nobody did hahaa. However other birthday guys and girls went up and got sabo-ed. So boliao. Never celebrate your birthday at Boiler Room unless you're sure you'll not get sabo-ed by your friends hahaha. I didn't really dance around, but merely sat around enjoying the music, whereas Junie boogied around enjoying herself hehehe. Oh a few of us treated Junie to a flaming waterfall. Think she must have gotten quite high after that lol. We didn't really dance around cos we were always at our table, but I think Junie went off with Gladys to dance elsewhere. Haha all old liao no energy. Anyway it's her birthday so she enjoy can liao. Next time we should organize some real clubbing sessions hehe.

Pictures to the session at Boiler can be found here, at Junie's photo album.

14th June 2009, Sunday

After Japanese lesson, I met up with Ron, Cong, Sim, An at Iluma to have dinner. We tried the new Tora Shabu, the Japanese style maid restaurant. Yeah the waitresses were all dressed up as maids, wearing black dress and white aprons. BUT there wasn't really much visual feast. Zannen desu ne... The food was ok, and we ordered all the four types of soup available - Japanese, miso, paitan with collagen, spicy. The paitan was the best of all. Tastes like chicken soup though lol. We ordered not too much food, just enough to fill our stomachs. The price was pretty ok. But best is if you go for the weekday lunch buffet. $15++ only! I wonder if it's true. Next time got chance go try again. Anyway it says NO PHOTOGRAPHY all over the restaurant, but I just snapped some pix of our food anyway. I think they just forbid people from taking pix of the waitresses only. Nothing much to take anyway hahaha.

Eat Until Puke

Ok lah. Although we didn't have buffet, as earlier intended, but we had quite a feast from the V8 Cafe at Bugis Junction, followed by ice-cream at Swensen's. It was a mini gathering as planned by Yipeng to "celebrate" my super belated birthday lol. As we had wanted to have Japanese buffet at Hanabi at Odeon Towers, but only to find that the place was fully-booked, we scouted along the area until we decided on V8. Quite cheap and good food there, and there were plenty of seats. So the few of us, Elgin, Yipeng, Zhangjing, Ron, Xiaoqin and me had our dinner there.

Next outing: Drinking at Holland V. Hehehe!
