Sayonara Sensei...

And so our beloved Sensei (walau until now I still dunno her full name) has left for Japan, for good. I just remembered that today's the day that she's flying back to Japan. Therefore I SMSed Edwin to ask him whether he'll be going to the airport to see her off. Then Edwin told me he'll tell me later at night. So I actually sort of forgot about the thing until at 10pm when Edwin called and said he just left his office and is going down straight to the airport. We were told that we shall all gather at 10:30pm to send Sensei off. So I rushed to take a quick shower, and drove off to Changi Airport Terminal 3. First time I actually went there, some more even drove into the new carpark. Everything was brand new. Alamak now kena flooded on MSN. Time passes so quickly when you're online. But everytime Maple oso a bit sianz wahahha. I think it's been 3 nights since I last logged into Maple. LOL

Anyway saw a yellow Lambo at the carpark. Must be some filthy rich guy picking up some flight stewardess or something. LOL.... Then I went to meet up the guys at the departure hall, which was a level 2. Everyone was there already. Then they started taking pictures with Sensei, so she stood there like a statue and everyone took turns to take a couple picture with her. We first took a group photo, which lasted a minute or so because there were many cameras.

Then we took the couple photos. So Sensei really stood there not moving. LOL And here's a picture of me and her. While I was chatting online as I update on this entry, those who saw the picture of Sensei said she doesn't look like she's the same age as me. I also think so. Even the new teacher who's taking over her, being age 23, looks much older than she really is. Hmm... Are all Japanese teachers like that, or are we all kena conned into believing that all Japanese are as chio as Ayumi, Utada or any other Japanese celebs?

Once all the photo-taking was done. We bidded her farewell. We walked her over to the entry area and we took one final group photo. That group photo was taken by I think one of those teachers over at our Tenrikyo school, so I don't have that picture. ZZZzzz...

And so everyone dispersed. Edwin and I walked around abit while I snapped pictures of the brand new Terminal 3. Those green leaves, covering the whole of one side of the wall made the whole area looked like some army camp or something. Weird design. There were metal panels hanging above on the whole of the ceiling. Even weirder design. But look at them separately, hmm...looks much better. We went to the toilet and relieved ourselves, only to discover that the urinals had "flies" inside them. Wahahah! At first when I first saw one, I thought it was a real fly. But on closer look, of course holding my breath, I was like diaoZZzzzz....

Edwin had to rush off first since he has to catch the last train. Therefore I went around T3 myself snapping more pictures. It's quite a peaceful and soothing experience enjoying the aircon and wide open space on a quiet and late Tuesday night at the airport. T3 was actually quite similar to T2, in terms of layout. Only difference are the decorations. Even the shops were the same, like Bengawan Solo etc. I took the escalator up to the viewing hall and walked around and found Harry's Bar, totally empty. Snapped many more pictures around the place before I left for home. A bit too late to continue liao. Walau all the chatting left me little time to update. No more pictures for now. But T3 is really quite a beautiful place. More pictures soon.
