What a way to start the month of April. A new layout and template. Triple whammy of posts. And a new section introduced on this very day! No this ain't an April Fool's joke.
I came up with this idea not too long ago. Being an avid fan of all sorts of music, I consider myself quite well-informed with all information of songs from the 90's all the way to the present time. Hey I ain't bullshitting. I think Kat knows exactly what I'm talking about. We used to talk about everything on music back in camp. Anyway when I say music, it only means English songs. Hehehe... I ain't a banana, but I still prefer English songs to Chinese. Back then, I hardly know any Chinese songs, until I started opening up to more Chinese songs when I was staying in the hostels in NTU. I still think my collection of songs, CDs are in the ratio of 18:1:1. (English:Chinese:Others)
Ok so what's this new section about? Beginning today, on every 1st, 11th, 21st, 31st of the month. I shall introduce a song that I know from the 90's all the way to the present, including some interesting information on each song. I may even introduce a song from the 80's or earlier, but then again, it makes me feel soooo old. As if being 27 this year isn't old enough. Shish... So enough of the crap and face the mewwwwziiiik.

Fun facts: I first started listening to radio music when I was living with my auntie and uncle, and cousins Vivian and Wilson back in Primary 4. I stayed at their house for that year cos my family were all in Taiwan. Therefore under the influence of my cousins, I took a liking to listening to music, especially English songs. They listened to Chinese songs too, but somehow I just prefer English songs. Back then, this song was the hottest on the charts. Eventually I even managed to memorize the first part of the lyrics to this infectious rap song. Anyway if you haven't heard of Vanilla Ice or even the chorus of this song, listen to it! No need to look for it, just listen to it right here courtesy of YouTube, where else. The sound quality sucks though.
